FAQ
Product basics
- What is a pimple patch and how does it work?
- A hydrocolloid patch is a thin dressing that sits on top of a blemish. It absorbs fluid from the spot, keeps the area slightly moist, and blocks you from touching it—so the skin can calm down without picking.
- What are Binsu patches made of?
- Binsu Miracle Stars use a hydrocolloid dressing: polyurethane film, polyisobutylene, and carboxymethylcellulose. That is the list. We are not hiding anything behind a longer one.
- Are Binsu patches medicated or non-medicated?
- Non-medicated. There is no salicylic acid, no tea tree, and nothing that requires a midnight search engine session to pronounce.
How to use
- When should I apply a pimple patch?
- On clean, dry skin, when the spot has come to a head or has an open surface. The star works best when the patch can make contact with fluid; deep, closed bumps may need time (or a different approach) before a patch is the right tool.
- How long should I wear one patch?
- Many people wear one overnight or for several hours during the day. When the center looks cloudy or white, it has usually done its job—swap in a fresh one if you still want coverage.
- Can I wear a pimple patch under makeup?
- Yes. The patch is thin enough that concealer and foundation can go over it when you want it to disappear into the rest of your face.
- Should I apply skincare before or after the patch?
- Start with a clean face. If you use toner or essence, let it dry fully, place the patch on the spot first, then apply moisturizer or cream around it—avoid piling heavy product directly on top of the star.
Results & skin fit
- How quickly will I see results?
- Some people notice a flatter, calmer-looking spot after a night; others need longer. Blemishes are not a predictable script—if one patch and one evening fixed every dot, we would say so. We are not going to pretend it does.
- Do pimple patches work on cystic or blind pimples?
- Hydrocolloid patches shine on surfaced or “head” blemishes. Deep, cystic acne that has not opened up is a different category; a patch may still feel comforting, but it is not a guarantee there. If you are unsure, a dermatologist is the right phone call.
- Do Binsu patches help prevent picking and scarring?
- They put a physical barrier between your nails and the spot, which many people find stops the “just one poke” spiral. Less picking often means less post-spot drama—but individual healing still depends on your skin and the blemish.
- Are Binsu patches safe for sensitive skin?
- Hydrocolloid is widely used and tends to be gentle, but “sensitive” covers a lot of ground. If you are reactive, try one patch on a less visible area first.
- Can I use them every day?
- You can use a new patch on a new spot as often as you need. We are not in the business of rationing stars—only of suggesting you listen to your skin.
